The brief was to design the interior for a newly developed luxury yacht superstructure, the challenge for the Conran design team led by Sebastian, was to deliver an interior that exuded a sense of space, grace and style.An elegant, light and airy space was achieved using blond wood, clear sight-lines and above all, by implementing rigorous simplification and rationalisation of the interior architecture, fittings materials and finishes.
Launched in 2008, the result was particularly well received by press & awards judges alike, and commanded orders well in excess of projections, especially given the prevailing stormy economic conditions.
